I decided to show how useful programs written by other than Adobe can be. This was made with DAZ Studio, Bryce, 3d Studio Max, and Paint Shop Pro 6 (and old but faviorite version). Also was a first venture into seperate rendering of multiple image components. I rended the background entirely seperately from Krystal, was lazy with the lighting and camera matches, and wound up cleaning everything up in post with Paint Shop Pro. Which was good until Jasc sold it to Corel. Anywho. I'll spare you the rant. Adobe Sucks. 'Nuff said. By the way.. easter-egg in the top-left quarter of the image.

I like it, too. A high-resolution version would make a great wallpaper (640x480 gets a bit blurry on a 1400x1050 desktop :/ )

I'll consider making a higher-res render or perhaps remaking it entirely sometime after the holidays.

Adobe does suck. Not just Photoshop either. Adobe produces needlessly bloated programs. Not to mention the company itself gained it's market share through the PDF file format, which is encapsulated post-script stolen by a guy who worked with the company that originally made encapsulated post script but left to go join adobe and rebrand the stolen product. If that's not bad enough, Adobe continues to saturate the market with unstable and needlessly bloated software often aimed at a target market of religiously unintelligent users that swear by a piece of hardware with the congenial defect of a single-button mouse. They don't mind over-paying for under-powered hardware. Of course not. It's got a fancy-looking interface with limited functionality. If their stupid kid shoves a second CD in the slot-load drive they have to pay $300 for a new CD-ROM, it's even worse if they want some kind of burner or heaven forbid a DVD-ROM. No Adobe doesn't suck. Neither does Apple's hardware. Go buy them both.
